Is your data centre fit for purpose?

Date: 10th May 2012

Venue: The Caves, Edinburgh

The Caves is a truly unique venue that makes up the sub-structure of the 18th Century South Bridge. There is no venue more Edinburgh than the Caves, or more Scottish, if you consider there was once so much Whisky stored here that it became known as "Whisky Row".

Today, after over 100 years of being lost, the hidden vaults were rediscovered and the original stone vaults of the Old Town Edinburgh have been magnificently restored and will be the venue for an evening of fine food and debate.

This particular Dining Club will be looking at the fact that, whilst most companies have embarked on server consolidation and virtualisation projects, many have dealt with their storage demands by simply purchasing greater amounts of disk space. However, as many organisations have discovered, this is a greater problem as large amounts of resources are being called upon, as well as the issue of roadblocks to private clouds and virtual data centre plans.

By attending this CBR Dinning Club event you will learn best practice strategies to help bring your storage solutions into the 21st century and the benefits that a more virtualised data centre can bring your organisation.
