Migration to the cloud: separating fact from fiction

In 2018 cloud migration continues to top most CIO’s list of strategic priorities. The promise of cost efficiencies, operational agility and access to unlimited processing power and storage capacity makes the case for cloud compelling. However, there is growing evidence that the migration from on premise or data center to the cloud is difficult to achieve in practice – and that the application sets available remain limited. Rather than a public-only or private-only solution to cloud implementation, smart organisations are looking to meet the challenge of delivering a truly hybrid alternative.

In association with Citrix, this specially-convened CBR Dining Club event will consider the benefits and challenges of cloud migration and chart a path to successful implementation. We’ll discuss the planning and execution of migration as well as the management and monitoring of a post-data center estate.
